Lisa Repp, a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s online masters’ degree in project management, has earned the prestigious 2013 North American James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award.

Repp’s thesis “Factors that Influence Critical Chain Project Management Implementation Success,” garnered her $500 and an all-expense-paid trip to the 2013 PMI® Global Congress—North America, Oct. 27–29 in New Orleans, where she’ll present her findings. The James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award recognizes excellence in student development of original concepts in project management. Papers are selected based upon the research and creative effort that are best directed toward advancing the concepts, tools and techniques of managing project-oriented tasks. One winner from each of four regions (North America, Latin America, Europe-Middle East-Africa [EMEA], and Asia-Pacific) are selected annually.
